By the way, the 'Grave' filled with ex-combatants, that was 2003, that grave yard has been rennovated and is sealed off. No one can even bury in the graveyard better yet enter it. The 18 ft high walls, no trespassing sign and the current monitoring by police makes it a 'no zone' for anyone. Thousands of ex-combatants have returned to school or have learned a trade to better of themselves 7 years after the civil war, with our first female president of Liberia and Africa, Liberia is not the same. That is why Hilary Clinton could travel there this year and 09 and Bush could travel there in 2008. I bet many people don't even know that Bush went there. And Bush carefully choose which countries he could go to based on how safe and stable the African nations were during his tour of Africa. Liberia was and is safe stable and is moving tremendously in it's developement.

It's a shame that ignorant Americans and other people think that this video is a true representation of Liberia. Everything this phony producer showed was a lie. The photages where events that happened during a 14 year civil war that ended in 2003!!! I went to Liberia twice since the war, @ age 22 and 24 BY MYSELF!!!General Butt naked has not fought since 1996, even though there was a war in 1997, 2000, 2001, and 2003.
Many Lebanonese who had abandoned their buisnesses in Monrovia have returned! There are many foreigners who are currently living in Liberia. The city has been renovated tremendously since the last war in 2003, our police force along with the police force have clamped down on crimes and criminal events. There are about 5 luxury hotels that have been built or renovated just in the past 3 plus years. There is a gulf course, sushi @ the Royal hotel, horse riding @ Mr. Urey's farm, I can go on. I was in Liberia in April with a 19 year old Hispanice friend, all by ourselves down 'waterside' the main shopping area of Liberia. The creator of this 'Vice guide' is a shameless dispicable character, who has exploited Liberian issues to make him self seem like some type of trooper!
And what is sad is that Americans and their closed up minds never take the time to actually look up the truth. You all eat it up and merry in how 'LUCKY' you are to stay in the 'Land of the free'. By the way I'm going back in December, yet again by myself. If the country was so deadly that I fled it once and didn't return until 13 plus years after why would i return risking my life by myself.
If Liberia was so dangerous why would a 5 1 110lbs woman with a hispanic foreigner go by themselves? All these events dipicted in this 'Vice guide' DOES NOT represent anything about Liberia, but it's pass nightmare.
