Swinger’s ads…

I saw a photo today of a gal with a nice rack and her face wa turned away from the camera. She knew the picture was being taken and turned her face away to allow you to focus on what you really wanted to see. It wasn’t a swinger’s ad, but it reminded me of the photos in swinger’s magazines.
It’s an advertisement for the body as object. Take away the face and you take away how we as social animals identify other humans. We don’t see most of our friends naked, though fashion can at times leave little to the imagination, even the tightest jeans conceal birthmarks and minor physiological quirks.
I have no problem objectifying others, because very few people can be complex and dimensional in my life. There’s not enough time or, quite frankly, interest.
The body is something to be looked at, as it has mass. The body of the gender that you desire is something to be looked at in a sexual way. Humans are very sexual creatures, our biological urges compel us to be.
With social restrictions on rape and the confusion of how different the genders think and respond, sexual congress can be difficult to obtain at times. The only natural and normal thing is to appreciate representations of the object of your sexual urges.
Thus, porn.
Huzzah for porn.
And when I say porn, I include all depictions of the nude or suggestive human body. Even the half-robed figure of the Lady of Justice, yes, her Tit of Justice bared to the world, she is a sexual being.
It appeals to our sexual nature.
I don’t find pornography to be distinct from “erotica”, but I find erotica to be one form of pronography.
Something can be of a carnal/sexual nature and appeal to more than just our sexual instinct, such as with the Lady of Justice mentioned above. Something can be pornographic and nationalistic, it can be pornographic and smart or silly or gross.
To reject that is to reject being an animal. To reject being an animal is to reject the world.
